Rangers have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Libby Bance on a season-long loan deal.
The Gers announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Bance has come through the youth system at Brighton & Hove Albion before going on to feature for the Sussex club at first team level. The 20-year-old made 17 appearances for The Seagulls in last season’s Barclays Women’s Super League.
Given Brighton & Hove Albion’s strong summer recruitment drive, Bance may not have had as many playing opportunities this season therefore she has joined SWPL 1 club Rangers on loan.
After joining The Gers, Bance said “It feels really amazing, I got here and had a tour of the facilities and they are top notch, and I have met some of the girls and they all seem lovely too.
“I spoke to Jo (Potter) and I think almost immediately, I had a gut feeling that this was the right decision for me. I just felt like it is a really great opportunity for me this season, to get more minutes and have a brand new experience.”
Bance follows Brighton & Hove Albion teammate Lulu Jarvis in going out on loan on Transfer Deadline Day.
