Birmingham City striker Cole joins West Bromwich Albion on dual-registration basis

Birmingham City striker Delphi Cole has joined FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division club West Bromwich Albion on a dual-registration basis.

Both clubs announced the arrangement via their official media channels just a short time ago.

Cole has come through the academy system at Birmingham City and she made her senior debut for the club at the age of just 16. The forward has been in and around the first team squad in recent seasons but has struggled for playing time.

Last season saw Cole enjoy a spell playing in the third tier with West Bromwich Albion and she is now re-joining The Baggies to gain further experience this season.

After re-signing Cole, West Bromwich Albion head coach Siobhan Hodgetts told the club’s official media team “I’m really excited to have Delphi back with us. She’s a great finisher, and a young player with lots of ability and potential. I know she’ll fit in well with the group and we’re looking forward to working with her this season.”

In her initial spell with West Bromwich Albion, Cole made 11 appearances for the club in the FA Women’s National League while she netted two goals. The youngster will be hoping to find the back of the net on a regular basis for the club this season.
