Chelsea have announced the news that ticket sales for next month’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge have exceeded 15,000.
The Blues defender Millie Bright provided the latest ticket update via a post on the club’s official X account earlier today.
Ticket sales for the match have been going well with the 15,000 mark having now been exceeded. The club are still some way from challenging their record attendance at The Bridge which currently stands at 38,350.
Chelsea are set to welcome Manchester United to The Bridge for their first Barclays Women’s Super League fixture of 2024. The pair will meet in South West London on Sunday 21 January 2024. The Blues will be looking to maintain their position at the top of Barclays Women’s Super League table while opponents Manchester United will be keen to build a run of form during the second half of the season.
Both of this season’s fixtures between Chelsea and Manchester United will be staged in main stadiums. The pair will also contest the reverse fixture at Old Trafford on the final day of the 2023/2024 Barclays Women’s Super League season.
