Leicester City have completed the signing of midfielder Ruby Mace on a two-year deal.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Foxes this afternoon.
Mace joins Leicester City on a free transfer after leaving former club Manchester City at the end of last season. The 20-year-old is no stranger to Leicester City fans, Mace had a loan spell with The Foxes during the 2022/2023 season. She made 11 appearances in blue and white.
In addition to her spells with Manchester City and Leicester City, Mace has also turned out for Arsenal and Birmingham City in her career to date.
After securing her Leicester City return, Mace said “It feels a little surreal right now, but I am so happy to be back. When I first came here, it felt like I was joining a family the second I walked through the door – everybody was so welcoming.
“I was allowed express myself on the pitch and showcase what I can do. This is the best Football Club for me to continue doing that. Minutes are important at this stage of my career, and Leicester gave me the platform to play. Hopefully I can prove myself again and do my best to help the team.”
Mace becomes Leicester City’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
