Barclays Women’s Super League title hopefuls Arsenal and Manchester City will meet on the opening day of the 2024/2025 season.
The Women’s Professional Game revealed the 2024/2025 Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures this afternoon via an official press release.
The stand-out fixture of the opening weekend sees Arsenal play host to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium. The game provides an opportunity for Manchester City’s summer signing Vivianne Miedema to enjoy an immediate return to North London to face her former club.
Elsewhere, Barclays Women’s Super League champions Chelsea play host to Aston Villa in a clash of two new coaches while Manchester United welcome West Ham United to the Leigh Sports Village. Tottenham Hotspur contest a London derby with newly-promoted Crystal Palace while Liverpool’s first home game at the Totally Wicked Stadium will be against Leicester City. The other remaining fixture sees Brighton & Hove Albion play host to Everton.
All fixture dates and kick-off times will be announced in due course. This season’s non-broadcasted fixtures will be available to stream live across the globe on YouTube.
