Manchester City Women OSC flag on display at Wembley Stadium

WEEKLY UPDATE: Manchester City Women Official Supporters’ Club #14

Welcome to our weekly update on all matters from the Manchester City Women Official Supporters’ Club .

This week has seen us continue to finalise our input for the second edition of our popular yearbook. Our compiler Andrew Waldon has been working closely with myself and other supporters’ club members to produce an informative and entertaining mix.

We are hoping to keep the popular elements from last year as well as adding new features and reviews . It will be published soon and our cover has been provided exclusively from renowned Manchester City artist Lesley Ross once again. We shared the cover with you earlier today and we hope that you all love it as much as we do.

On the pitch, we have seen our stars return to training this week, including our new summer signings. Manchester City are due to fly out to the USA this weekend to take part in the 2019 Women’s International Champions Cup as the preparations for the new season step up a gear.

Many of our members travelled to watch the men’s team at Wembkey this Sunday for the FA Community Shield game against Liverpool. We had a great day out and were well chuffed to again come home with the silverware. As ever, we displayed our OSC flag at the home of football and it attracted a lot of attention.

We are in the middle of our renewal process at the moment and we invite new members to join the biggest supporters club in the women’s game, you will all be warmly welcomed to the group. If you would like to renew or join up for the first time, please contact us at mcwfc.officialfanclub@gmail.com. It will be great to welcome you ahead of another fantastic season.

See you all next week.
