West Ham United have completed the signing of former England Under-20 international defender Grace Fisk according to official club media sources.
The 21-year-old moves to Rush Green following a four-year spell playing in the United States where she also completed her off-field studies.
Fisk joins The Hammers from the University of South Carolina and she has been handed the number 22 shirt by her new club.
The defender is set to go straight into the West Ham United squad for Sunday’s FA Women’s Super League fixture against Everton at Rush Green. The player could make her debut for The Hammers on her 22nd birthday.
Fisk started her career with Millwall Lionesses and she was the club’s Young Player of the Year in 2015 before her move to the United States. Whilst in America, the youngster represented Penn State University before moving to the University of South Carolina where she has spent the last two years.
On the international stage, Fisk has captained England from the Under-15 age group up to Under-20 level and she has gone on to make six appearances for The Young Lionesses at Under-21 level throughout 2019.
The length of Fisk’s contract at new club West Ham United has been left undisclosed.
