PREVIEW: Reading v Bristol City

There is another classic offering from the Barclays FA Women’s Super League this evening as Bristol City broadcast a re-run of their match against Reading which took place at The Madejski Stadium back in November.

Reading went into the match on the back of five straight wins against Bristol City but could The Robins end that run and pick up a first victory of the season?

We preview the fixture once again ahead of this evening’s re-run on Bristol City’s official YouTube channel.

Kelly Chambers’ Reading side had started the season well, picking up six points from their opening four matches in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. Their two defeats had come against Manchester City and Manchester United. The Royals had also taken six points from an available nine in their fixtures in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup.

Bristol City made the trip to Berkshire without a win in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League this season. The Robins had taken a point from both Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool while they were beaten by Everton, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Tanya Oxtoby’s side’s best form had come in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup where they had defeated London Bees and Brighton & Hove Albion before recording a slightly disappointing home draw with the London City Lionesses.

Tonight’s re-run on the Bristol City YouTube channel kicks-off at 7pm. You can view the action by clicking here.
