Arsenal fans were celebrating last night after watching their side record a 4-0 North London derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Meadow Park in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals.
The game was goalless for 73 minutes but The Gunners’ class shone through in the end with Jordan Nobbs lobbing home a wonderful effort from 25 yards before Lisa Evans helped herself to a hat-trick.
The result not only sees Arsenal move into the semi-finals of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, it also sees the club maintain their unbeaten record over neighbours Spurs.
The match was screened live on BBC Two, a first for an FA Cup quarter-final tie, allowing more Arsenal fans to witness their club’s derby day victory. After the match, fans took to Twitter to give their opinions on the result. Some of their comments can be found below.

Arsenal will now take on the winners of today’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-final tie between Leicester City and Manchester City away from home in the semi-finals on Thursday evening. The match will kick-off at 7.15pm and will be screened live on BBC Two.
