Manchester United can last the pace and win a first Barclays FA Women’s Super League title this season according to the results of an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time fan poll.
The Red Devils go into the Christmas break four points clear of nearest challengers Arsenal who have played the same number of games and six points ahead of Chelsea who boast two games in hand.
Chelsea have favourable postponed fixtures against Bristol City and Tottenham Hotspur to play in the New Year. Had The Blues have collected six points from those two games, they would have been sitting in top spot right now. Despite the Barclays FA Women’s Super League title still being in the current champions’ own hands, many fancy Manchester United to successfully complete their task to remain at the summit according to the results of an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time fan poll.
Going into the Christmas period, we asked fans who will win this season’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League. Manchester United topped the poll with 44.5% of the votes while Chelsea commanded a 36.5% share. Manchester City attracted 19% of the votes while no voter believes that Arsenal will keep pace.
