The Liverpool squad are said to be in good shape ahead of the trip to Charlton Athletic on Sunday according to an update issued by the club on their official website.
The Reds have struggled with injuries over the course of the last couple of months and they have had to call upon some of their young players to fill the bench.
The likes of Lucy Parry, Mia Ross, Emily Brough and Eleanor Heeps have all been called upon to step into the senior environment. Defender Parry has gone on to make a handful of appearances for The Reds and she has taken her opportunity with both hands.
Liverpool return to action following a three-week absence on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Hayes Lane to take on the FA Women’s Championship’s bottom club Charlton Athletic and it is understood that caretaker manager Amber Whiteley has a fully fit squad available to her. Becky Jane, Jade Bailey and Ashley Hodson all missed Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester City last time out but they are all thought to have recovered for the trip to Bromley.
The only question mark hangs over forward Rinsola Babajide. The England international is thought to have requested to leave Liverpool in January but it has been reported by BBC Sport that the club blocked the move. It is unknown whether Babajide will be in the squad this weekend.
Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways in Kent following back-to-back defeats against Durham and Leicester City.
