Arsenal goalkeeper Hermoine Cull has completed the move to Barclays Women’s Championship club London City Lionesses.
The Pride announced the move earlier today via an official club update.
Cull came through the academy system at Arsenal and she has spent some time on the fringes of The Gunners’ first team squad in recent times. The keeper was named amongst the Arsenal substitutes for a handful of first team matches last season, although she didn’t make a senior appearance.
After completing her move to London City Lionesses, Cull said “It’s a great feeling to have got my first pro contract, and I can’t wait to show the world what I’m made of.
“I remember that I had a gut feeling that I would like this place, and I was really drawn to the drive that Mel (Phillips) and the rest of the coaching staff have that they bring into training.
“I can’t wait to get going, make some new connections, and start to broaden my learning environment.”
Cull becomes the fifth player to sign for London City Lionesses in the summer transfer window. Head coach Melissa Phillips has also added Lois Joel, Millie Farrow, Lois Heuchan and Lucy Shepherd to her ever-growing group.
