Durham’s defensive ace Bradley signs new professional deal

Durham’s defensive star Dee Bradley has signed a new full-time professional deal with the club ahead of the new season.

The Wildcats announced the news this afternoon via a post on their official club website.

The American defender joined Durham in the January 2020 transfer window and she has proved to be a valuable asset for the club in both boxes. Last season saw Bradley really put her stamp on the Durham side and it is fair to say that she was one of the top performers for Lee Sanders’ team.

Bradley will be hoping for another successful year with The Wildcats after signing a new deal with the club.

After signing on again at Maiden Castle, Bradley said “I am always proud to represent Durham. I think anyone that knows me knows how much I want this club to get promoted and knows how much I want to be a part of that push. I think this group of girls are special and I’m so excited to get back to work with them.

“Being a full-time footballer is something that I’ve always always wanted to be, so to be able to give all my efforts to this will allow me to push on as a player which more importantly, will help the team. I’m super happy to have been given this opportunity and I’m ready to get going again.”

Durham begin the new season against neighbours Sunderland at Maiden Castle on 21 August.
