PODCAST: We are the girls in claret and blue EURO 2021 and NWSL special

The latest edition of the excellent ‘We are the girls in claret and blue podcast’ is out now and FA Women’s Super League Full-Time have been speaking with co-presenter Allie Coker ahead of the podcast’s release.

The podcast provides an insight into all things West Ham United each week while a number of other stories from the women’s footballing world are put under the spotlight.

On this week’s podcast, Allie is joined by co-founder of Two Girls World Cup and Two Girls Talk Balls, Helen Hardy and Man City Women Fancast host Emma Meredith-Shone. With the FA Women’s Super League currently suspended, the trio have turned their attentions to the Olympic Games, Tokyo 2020. The girls discuss the news that the event has been postponed for a year due to the Coronavirus crisis.

The situation surrounding the UEFA Women’s Euro 2021, a tournament which could yet be rescheduled itself, is also put up for discussion. Will a potential postponement impact current England boss Phil Neville?

Finally, the girls have a thrilling debate on America’s National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) as they pick the player which they would most like to see playing in the FA Women’s Super League.
